Tri-Series at Nepal

Nepal will play the first match of the ICC World Cup League-2 triangular ODI series against Namibia at their home ground next month. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the schedule of the triangular ODI series between Nepal, Namibia, and Scotland to be held at home.

Nepal will play the first match against Namibia on Fagun 2 (February 14). The second match will be played against Scotland on February 5 (February 17). Nepal will play against Namibia on February 6 (February 18). Nepal will play the last match of this series against Scotland on February 9 (February 21).

With this, the triangular ODI series between Nepal, Scotland, and Namibia will end. After that, Nepal will play a triangular ODI series against Papua New Guinea and UAE in the ICC World Cup League 2 at home. Abroad, Nepal will travel to Papua New Guinea to play a triangular ODI series.

Scotland has become the champion by collecting 46 points in 32 games with 22 wins and 8 losses. Oman is second with 44 points from 36 matches with 21 wins. Namibia is in third place with 37 points with 18 wins from 30 matches.

Nepal is in sixth place with 18 points from 24 matches with 8 wins. Nepal has yet to play 12 matches in the World Cup League 2. Finishing in the top five, they need to win at least 10 matches to retain ODI status. Papua New Guinea is at the bottom with 2 wins in 28 matches. America is in fifth place with 35 points with 16 wins in 36 games. UAE is fifth with 27 points from 26 matches with 12 wins.
