In the final match of the U-19 national cricket tournament Little Flower Premier League (LPL), defending champions Satyavati Academy Attaria and Lotus Eye English Medium School Attaria will battle it out for the title. The tournament, which began on January 21st in Dhangadhi of Kailali, will conclude today at Phapla Cricket Ground.
The match is scheduled to start at 12 noon at the Phapla ground. Satyavati Academy Attaria is currently the undefeated team of the tournament. Lotus Eye English Medium School Attaria had lost to Satyavati in their first match. As a result, Satyavati will be at stake to defend their title by defeating Lotus Eye.
The winner of the competition, which is organized by Little Flower Sports and Events, will receive a cash prize of 251,111 Nepalese Rupees. The runner-up will receive a cash prize of 125,525 Nepalese Rupees, along with trophies, medals, and certificates.
Furthermore, the organizers will award a cash prize of 20,000 Nepalese Rupees to the best player of the tournament. The best bowler and batsman will each receive a cash prize of 10,000 Nepalese Rupees, along with a trophy, medal, and certificate. Additionally, 5,000 Nepalese Rupees in cash will be given to emerging players.
The competition aimed to provide maximum game exposure to cricket players who are still in school and to develop age-group cricket, according to the organizers.
