Dhading Dhading District Cricket Association has decided to hold a Dhading district-level inter-municipal T-20 cricket tournament between Dashain and Tihar from October 14th. There are 2 municipalities and 11 rural villages in Dhading, out of which at least 8 municipalities are expected to participate in this tournament.
The concerned players will have to play from their municipality, but the Dhading Cricket Association has set a policy that even if they participate in the player selection process conducted by the municipality, they will be allowed to play for other municipalities.
Dipesh Kadel, president of the Dhading Cricket Association, said that we have made a policy to play from the municipality where the player belongs. He said that some municipalities will have many players and some municipalities will not be able to field a team, so the players who participated in the selection process of the respective municipality but were not selected will be allowed to play from other municipalities.
The competition will be held at the playground of Chandradaya Mavi Vishaltar located in Benighat Rorang. Chairman Kadel has also called for financial support to complete this competition grandly.
